Melted cheese seasoned with chili and garlic powder, peppers and tomatoes. Served with warm tortilla chips. Perfect for game day and as a side to your favorite Mexican meal!
In a saucepan, add butter and diced onions and cook for 4-5 minutes. Add Velveeta cheese, chicken bone broth, Rotel tomatoes, garlic powder, and chili powder. Can add smoked paprika, tabasco if desire. Cook until desired consistency.
Serve with chips. Optional: Garnish with cilantro. Enjoy!
Add more chicken broth to make a more liquidy queso.
Chicken bone broth provides a deeper broth flavor, which is my preference. Regular chicken broth will work as well.
